It may just be my stupidy but a 16" chain is only 8" around once clasped!I bought this for my wife as she needed a longer chain for a pendant she owns. I figured 16 inches should be long enough but alas, it's more like an ankle bracelet! It's 16" if you unclasp it and lay it out! Hook it and it won't go around even a childs neck! Lovely chain, just watch the measurements!
